And to mess my body up even more, I played a rigorous game of basketball today, as well as some ultimate frisbee, soccer, and football. It was a fun-filled, athletic day and it made me sad that I never became a real athlete. I was always pretty good at a lot of sports, but never a true master at one. Who knows where I'd be if I could be the best outfielder in softball, the best goalie in soccer, or the tallest forward in the WNBA? Alas, I'm not complaining about the cards that God dealt me in this life since I've been blessed with good health, great family and friends, and a sunny disposition that is hard to make obsolete.
On another topic, for those of you who haven't watched "500 Days of Summer," you should. I liked it as much as I liked "Last Life in the Universe," and that's saying something. Here's one of the songs on the soundtrack covered by a random girl whom, might I add, has the perfect blend of a somber soliloquy in her voice.
